I am an American Canoe Association Instructor Trainer in Whitewater and Coastal Kayaking. I have been teaching kayaking for over a decade and teaching in general all my adult life. What I enjoy most is introducing new folks to the sport of kayaking (whatever the discipline) and training new instructors. I also enjoy traveling to new locations to teach at symposiums and workshops.

I am based in Fort Bragg (Mendocino Coast) but often travel to teach on local rivers or down in the San Francisco Bay area. I teach private lessons as well as group classes; on the river, ocean or flat water lakes. My curricula are flexible and adjusted to the needs of the client.
